Our Aim
To bring Scottish crofters into a discussion about heritage, traditional diets, cultural food practices, farming and fishing.
To find out how these practices may produce a more resilient and diverse gut microbiome amongst some Scottish communities.

Mission Statement
This project asks:
1. Do Scottish cultural practices and traditional diets contribute to the development of a resilient gut microbiome?
2. How can this knowledge support healthier, affordable, sustainable and context-adapted dietary advice across Scotland?
